We want communities that thrive
We're Marafiki Community International — a friendly, family-run NGO based in Kenya. Since 2010, we've been working alongside local communities to build something lasting: better health, better education, and brighter futures for families across Kenya.
Whether you're joining us as a volunteer or supporting us as a donor, you're part of the family.

Both have communities that require an element of support - not saving.

"My month in Kenya made me realise what I value in life — and that's to be happy and make a genuine impact in the world. It's a trip I'll never forget." —
Angelo De Amat, volunteer
Volunteering with Marafiki has been life-changing for me in more ways than one. I loved my time so much that I went back in 2018, and then again in 2021 — this time with my husband and eldest son. We can't wait to visit again."
